Fluidra’s AGM approves payment of a dividend of 0.85 euros per share

The dividend distribution of 0.85 euros per share will amount to a maximum of 166 million euros, 112% more than in 2021.

During the Meeting, the appointment of Ms. Barbara Borra as an independent Director and Mr. Bernat Garrigós as a proprietary Director was ratified.
Fluidra's General Shareholders' Meeting approved all the items on the agenda in a meeting that was once again held in person. In line with its dividend policy of a payout of around 50% of Net Cash Profit, the shareholders also approved the payment of a 0.85 euros per share dividend from voluntary reserves.
Fluidra will make a first payment of 0.43 euros gross per share on July 5 and an additional payment of 0.42 euros gross on November 3, for a maximum payout of 166 million euros, an increase of 112% compared to the 78 million euros paid in 2021.
Fluidra recorded sales of 2,187 million euros in 2021, 47% more than in 2020, driven by demand in Residential Pool and M&A, which contributed around 11%. Net Profit came at 252 million euros and EBITDA margin expanded by 350 bps to 25.1% to 549 million euros, up 71% on 2020.
In view of these results, the company's Executive Chairman, Eloi Planes, explains, "The fundamentals of the sector in the medium and long term remain solid, with a higher number of pools installed that will generate value in the Aftermarket over time, while technology, connectivity and sustainable products are driving up the average ticket." In this regard, he states that "today we have also presented our first quarter results and I am proud to say that despite the volatile macro environment, we have managed to grow and we are confident that we can achieve our objectives for 2022".
Finally, during the Meeting, the co-opted appointment and appointment of Barbara Borra as an independent Director and Bernat Garrigós Castro as a proprietary Director was ratified. Likewise, the re-election of Bruce W. Brooks, Steven Langman and José Manuel Vargas Gómez as Directors of the company was also approved.
