Fluidra secures the supply and installation of equipment for 22 pools in Hungary

Fluidra has been awarded the supply and installation of equipment for 22 pools for Debrecen Nagyerdei Strand, a water park in the city of Debrecen, in eastern Hungary. The contract is valued at over €2Mn.
Fluidra also engaged in the design of the equipment and is currently handling the installation of the pools in coordination with the construction company.
The project, scheduled for completion in April 2020, will see Fluidra install the engine room equipment, including 44 filters and over 100 pumps, among other parts. The group will also install the hydraulic system embedded in the shell and will run pressure tests prior to concreting.
Debrecen Nagyerdei Strand will be the largest water park in the city, covering a total water area of 5,700m2 and will use water drawn from hot spring pools. With over 200,000 inhabitants, Debrecen is the second-largest city in the country and one of its leading cultural centers.
