Fluidra opens a new branch in Russia
July 9, 2008The multinational group now has five branches across the country through
Astral SNG, a member of the AstralPool holding group.
Fluidra, a Spanish multinational company, has opened a
new branch in Samara (Russia), which will enable it to consolidate its presence in
this country. The new branch belongs to Astral SNG, the Russian subsidiary of
AstralPool, a holding company. Russia’s sixth largest city, Samara is a major
industrial and transport centre in European Russia. In addition to the Samara
branch, Fluidra has four other branches in strategic locations: Moscow, Saint
Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Krasnodar.
Since it opened its first branch in March 2000, Fluidra has continued to expand in
Russia through Astral SNG so as to increase its proximity to customers, and thus
improve the quality of its services.
The new branch will be managed by Alexandre Voljanski, Branch Manager, and
Vladimir Sharapov, Warehouse Manager. These highly experienced professionals
will help with the Spanish group’s plans to expand into the emerging markets of
Eastern Europe.
