Fluidra, new sponsor of Catalan Swimming Federation on its Centenary

Fluidra, the world leader in pool and wellness equipment, has reached a sponsorship agreement with the Catalan Swimming Federation (FCN) to partner in the events celebrating the centenary of the institution, which officially turned 100 on February 25.

The deal will see Fluidra feature at the competitions held in the framework of the FCN centenary such as the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series, the City of Barcelona-Mare Nostrum International Swimming Trophy, the City of Barcelona International Diving Trophy, and international matches by senior Catalan water polo squads.

Fluidra Executive President Eloi Planes said: “With this agreement we shore up our commitment to sport and especially water disciplines. It is a source of pride for us to be able to partner in the federation’s centenary and continue to support Catalan sport”.

Catalan Federation president Enric Bertrán thanked Fluidra on the institution’s behalf and expressed his desire for the partnership to continue into the future. He said the aim was to further power Catalan swimming, a global benchmark both in water polo and artistic disciplines.

The sponsorship is the latest among various agreements Fluidra already has with the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation (RFEN), the Swimming Union of the Americas (ASUA), the Asia Swimming Federation (AASF), and the Oceania Swimming Association (OSA), as well as with clubs such as Club Natació Sabadell, Club Natació Atlètic-Barceloneta, and Club Natació Terrassa.
