Fluidra, new Platinum Sponsor of Royal Spanish Swimming Federation through to 2020 Olympics

The Real Federación Española de Natación , RFEN, (Royal Spanish Swimming Federation in English) and Fluidra, represented by chief executives Fernando Carpena and Eloi Planes, signed an agreement on Thursday at the Comité Olímpico Español, COE (Spanish Olympic Committee in English) offices that sees Fluidra become the new Platinum Sponsor of the RFEN through to the 2020 Olympics. The event was also attended by Alejandro Blanco (president of the COE) and Luis Villanueva (Deputy Assitant Director General of the CSD National Sports Council), who spoke of the importance of a close collaboration between organizations and the business world.
Fluidra Executive President Eloi Planes expressed the company’s satisfaction with an agreement that “lets us support water sports, which we have a special connection with” and underscored the firm’s natural involvement with swimming. “Our brand has been the main sponsor of the AstralPool CN Sabadell swimming club for more than four years and I am very proud to say that our products can now carry the seal of RFEN collaborating entity. We have a firm commitment to water sports and provide technology solutions that can benefit many athletes”.

International waterpolo player Paula Crespi thanked Eloi Planes, Executive President of the Federation’s new Platinum Sponsor, with a gift on behalf of the RFEN.
