An agreement with the Real Federación Española de Natación (Royal Spanish Swimming Federation in English) makes Fluidra the main sponsor of the different Spanish National Swimming Championship events.
Fluidra, the listed Spanish multinational dedicated to the development of applications for the sustainable use of water for Pools and Wellness, is stepping up its commitment to the principal swimming competitions in Spain.
On the one hand, Fluidra is providing the competition pool for the 2018 Mediterranean Games set to begin in Tarragona on 22 June. The company’s project for the 2018 Mediterranean Games in Tarragona consists of an Olympic pool of a groundbreaking and versatile design with a mobile wall to divide it into five different areas, thus making it eminently adaptable. The pool will be completed in time for the Games, where it will be used for the swimming and water polo competitions, and after they end will be available to all members of the Camp Clar sports club in Tarragona.
In addition to ensuring its geometric standards, Fluidra has fitted the pool with all accessories required for competitions and it will be responsible for water quality maintenance, using the Freepool treatment and disinfection system. This will ensure top-quality water for athletes at the competitions and its efficient use.
The presence of Fluidra’s core brand AstralPool at top-level swimming comps in Spain will be stepped up through the recent agreement with the Real Federación Española de Natación, RFEN, (Royal Spanish Swimming Federation in English), which will see the company becoming the federation’s new Platinum Sponsor. Under the agreement, the RFEN-organized national competitions in Malaga (7–11 April), Seville (11–15 July) and another city yet to be decided (15–18 November), will be called the “AstralPool Open Championship of Spain”.
Fluidra’s commitment to water competitions in Spain is rounded out by its backing, as the main sponsor, of the AstralPool Club Natació Sabadell water polo teams, a relationship that has been in place for over 10 years.
