Fluidra becomes new sponsor of CN Atlétic-Barceloneta

Club Natació Atlétic-Barceloneta (CNAB) and Fluidra, represented by their respective presidents, have reached an agreement in which the world leader in pool and wellness equipment will become the club’s official sponsor under the Zodiac brand name.

This agreement, signed in Sabadell by Julián García, president of CNAB, and Eloi Planes, executive president of Fluidra, will make the company the club’s official sponsor until the 2020–2021 season. The men´s and women’s water polo teams will now be called Zodiac CNAB. This name change will take place immediately in the case of the men’s team and in the case of the women’s team once it has classified as a national team.

Eloi Planes, executive president of Fluidra, expressed his satisfaction at “the company being able to continue to give its support to a sport so closely linked to our business and we are proud to be able to do so in partnership with a club that is a leader in the world of water polo”.

Julián García, president of CNAB, stated that “there was a feeling of great pride and satisfaction that the Fluidra group, through its new brand name ZODIAC, sponsored our water polo team, which will no doubt give us the drive we need to reach the ambitious goals we have set ourselves for both the home stretch of this season and for the next two seasons”.

Focused on supporting water sports

The agreement signed with the CNAB is another step forward in Fluidra’s commitment to water sports. This company already sponsors Sabadell CN, which it has supported for more than four years through the AstralPool brand, and the Real Federación Española de Natación. Through its brand Zodiac, it has now made a full-fledged entry into top-tier water polo.
