Born in Barcelona, 1964. Graduated in Law by the University of Barcelona, and Master in Taxation by the Fundación CEU – Abat Oliba.
Albert Collado is a partner of J&A Garrigues in Barcelona. He joined the company in 1987 (Arthur Andersen), where he performed consultancy tasks, and also was responsible for the international development of the company.
He has acted as a consultant to private and public outstanding multinational groups, in acquisition and reorganization processes. With a great experience in taxation of investments and derived funds, and international financial transactions, he is a common speaker in international conferences about international fiscal management. Albert has also published a number of articles and is co-author of different publications about international taxation.
Albert Collado is a lawyer recommended in Chambers, Best Lawyers, Who´s Who Corporate Tax and PLC Which Lawyer. He is the co-president of the fiscal committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), president of the legal and fiscal committee of the Spanish Association of Directives and member of the consultive board of the International Studies Center (University of Barcelona).
