Fluidra opens two new branch offices in China

  • Within the framework of its expansion strategy in China, the multinational has opened two new offices, in order to provide a better service to local customers.

  • The chosen cities are Shenyang in the north-east of China and Kunming in the south-east, which along with Fluidra’s other businesses and offices, will serve a large part of the country.

 

 

Giving a better service to local customers is AstralPool holding’s aim in opening two new branch offices in China. The two cities chosen for the new offices were Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, which has a population of over four million, and Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province, whose population is over seven million. The Kunming branch will improve Fluidra’s services in the country’s south-eastern market, while the Shenyang branch will strengthen the company’s north-eastern market operations. The two new branch offices will facilitate the wider promotion of Fluidra’s products to local companies and increase its customer base.

These new branches in China are part of Fluidra’s strategic expansion in the Asian market. The holding AstralPool opened in March 2003 its first office in China, in the city of Shanghai. The company opened new branches in Beijing in 2004 and in Guangzhou and Chengdu in 2005. The multinational also has production facilities located in Ningbo.

Fluidra’s strategy in China has developed to adapt to changes in the country and in its market. However, it has always replicated the business model that has proved a great success in other markets: the combination of manufacturing and distribution. ​​​​​
