branches over the next few years, as part of the company’s commitment
to lean management.
The new branch office was officially opened by Jaume Bosch, mayor of
Sant Boi de Llobregat.
Today in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Fluidra, the listed Spanish multinational group
dedicated to developing applications for the sustainable use of water, unveiled a new
model for its branch offices, which will be adopted by all branches in the future.
The new concept focuses on satisfying customer needs by providing an efficient
customer service, and a showroom with information displays and a self-service area.
The challenge is part of the group’s lean management strategy, which will not only
help Fluidra to meet customer needs but will also position it as a market leader.
The mayor of Sant Boi de Llobregat, Jaume Bosch, was involved in the opening,
together with Eloi Planes, Fluidra’s CEO, Antonio Ibáñez, manager of AstralPool
España, and most of the company’s senior management. For Jaume Bosch “it is an
honour that Fluidra has chosen Sant Boi de Llobregat to set such an innovative
business concept in motion”.
Eloi Planes said that “this is a big day for us because we’re unveiling a new model
for our branches. It is much more versatile and customer-friendly, and better
represents what Fluidra can offer to the world of water. This new model will be
established in all of our national and international branches. From Sant Boi to the
world!”
Improved customer service
The new concept in branches is part of Fluidra’s commitment to lean management,
and was put in place with the aim of enhancing customer service by offering better
customer care and technical support. The new branches will give better advice and
technical information, as well as improving the marketing of offers, promotions and
training sessions.
In addition, customers who do not require specialised over-the-counter information
can go to the self-service area and choose the products they need for themselves.
The new branches will stock all the products required by professionals who
specialise in pools, irrigation, fluid handling and water treatment. The products
available in branches have been chosen in order to better meet the needs of these
professionals. Furthermore, the addition of showrooms will enable customers to view
the full range of products available, and to find the products they need quickly and
easily.
