Fluidra to advise large leisure parks in Spain about their aquatic facilities
September 26, 2008The multinational will advise the employees at the Aspro Ocio Group’s
13 leisure parks and centres in Spain with aquatic facilities about water
systems and maintenance products and will train them to use new
technologies.
Fluidra, through its holding AstralPool, has
signed a collaboration agreement with the Aspro Ocio Group, the largest operator in
Europe of leisure parks and centres in number of centres, to give advice and
information-training services at its aquatic facilities. The firm owns leisure centres
such as the Barcelona Aquarium, Marineland, Aqualand and Western Park.
With the signing of this agreement, service engineers from the AstralPool holding,
which belongs to Fluidra’s Pool division, will act as consultants for Aspro Ocio in the
selection of products and maintenance systems at its 13 leisure parks and centres
with aquatic facilities. In addition, it will train the employees to use new technologies
that can be deployed in the facilities. This agreement attests to Aspro Ocio
compromise with environment and to the trust the group has placed in the products
developed by Fluidra, that it habitually uses.
The Aspro Ocio Group has 38 parks and centres spread all over Europe (Spain,
France, United Kingdom, Portugal, Switzerland, Finland and Belgium), 13 of which
are in Spain. Among its establishments, there are water parks, aquariums and
dolphinariums, zoos and botanical gardens, state-of-the-art aquariums, amusement
parks, and tourist and leisure centres.
