Fluidra opens new branches in Spain

Fluidra, the listed Spanish multinational group devoted to the development of applications for the sustainable use of water, has opened two new branches in Spain to enhance the service it gives to its industrial customers.

The new branches of Fluidra Comercial España, located in Blanes (Barcelona) and El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), have a 350 m2 display area and a 150 m2 warehouse that form part of the new concept, Fluidra Professional Stores, which the company set up two years ago. First introduced in 2011 in Sant Boi de Llobregat, the new concept in the company's branches reflects its commitment to lean management. Since then, Fluidra has invested over 1.6 million euros in adapting its network of branches to this new concept that enhances the service delivered to customers as they are given more personalised assistance and technical support.

The new branches were set up with the aim of improving technical advice and information. They are also better placed for advertising offers and promotions, as well as for running training sessions. They deal in all of the products that service engineers working in the sectors of pools, irrigation, fluid handling and water treatment may need. They also have a showroom that enables the whole product range to be displayed, which makes it easier and quicker for customers to find the product they are looking for. Following the introduction of this new model, cross sales have increased and operating costs have been reduced. 

The branch in El Puerto de Santa María is carrying products sold under the Certikin CTX brand (chemicals, pool cleaners and salt chlorinators) together with those by AstralPool for the first time since the merger of Fluidra España and Certikin Ibérica. There are plans for all other branches to combine the two product catalogues over the coming months.

Following these openings, Fluidra Comercial España now has 18 sales outlets across Spain.
