    The Shangri-La Villingili Resort & Spa, located in the southern part of the Maldive Islands, opened its doors in July 2009 as the country’s biggest hotel. This resort is nestled in the sheltered waters of Addu Atoll (also known as Seenu Atoll), the southern most atoll in the archipelago of the Republic of Maldives. The 142 villa resort offers guests a stylish experience in a spacious, boutique-style environment. The island resort is surrounded by over 3.5 miles of picturesque coastline and over 1 mile of beautiful, white-sand beach.
