Fluidra's competition pools at the Asian Games, the most important sporting event on the continent after the Olympic Games
The Asian Games is a Pancontinental multi-sports event held every four years for athletes from all over Asia. The 2018 Asian Games took place in Jakarta (Indonesia), for which Fluidra was commissioned to build four swimming pools for the water sport disciplines.
    Description of Fluidra's scope
The first is a 50 x 25 x 3 m water polo pool built using a mixture of 1.50 m Skypool and concrete panels. A 51.20 x 25 x 3 m Olympic competition pool made completely of Skypool galvanised steel panels will be the second pool to be built. It will have a movable bridge that makes it possible to vary the length of the swimming pool if necessary. The third is a 21 x 25 x 5 m diving pool that will be built with 1.50 m Skypool panels and a concrete wall of 3.5 m. A diving tower has also been commissioned for this pool. Finally, a 50 x 20 m training pool 1.40 to 2 m deep made entirely of concrete will be built.
